Minecraft server updated!

Our server has been updated and most the bugs have been fixed but as always plugin developers fail to update as quickly as we'd like sometimes. As such, Iconomy, and MobArena are both not working properly. Permissions should be working.

But the biggest thing is we now have a
Creative world! Those interested in using it come speak with me and i'll get you set up on it and explain how it works.

Nuclear Dawn Kick Off

I'm going to start recruiting and getting things setup for nuclear dawn. I enjoy playing it so I thought I would try this game like I did for tf2. I have a server up and running. Im telling everyone who has it to get together on sunday at 6pm MST. We also will have one all day long on Tuesday. If you don't own it, check it out. Its a hybrid rts/fps. I look forwardto seeing all you FeCrs in it.

New Server Box Funding with a Prize Drawing Event

Everyone who donates towards this new server will get their name entered into a drawing for free games and other prizes. All subscribers will also get their name entered each month until we reach this goal. This officially started on January 1st 2012 to give everyone a fair chance who subscribes earlier in the month.

Rules:

  • 1 ticket per $10 donated/subscribed (EX: $30 would give you 3 tickets towards the prizes)
  • 1 prize per person (Unless that person has the game already or doesn't want it)
  • All FeC Dollars will be entered in this to reset the system (Each $10 = 1 ticket)


Prizes:

  • Starcraft 2
  • Nuclear Dawn
  • 2x Just Cause 2
  • Half-Life: Episode 1
  • Bunch of Heroes
  • Garry's Mod
  • Admin to all FeC Servers for 6 months. (Excludes: Leaders)
  • Server of your choice on the New Server Box up to 32 players (Excludes: EA Games)
  • and more coming

Our servers will change around as shown below. I'll add more servers to each of our boxes and I sort through what our subscribers want hosted. If we can't find anything else on the e3-1230 I'll host more Killing Floor servers or maybe another Nuclear Dawn server.

Old Dedicated Server Removed

Our old server (Core 2 Quad 9400, 4GB ram) is unattached from the datacenter and its being shipped to my apartment. I tried to sell it while it was being hosted so we didn't have to pay shipping costs but I couldn't find anyone. After I get the server, I'll continue to try and sell it. All servers have been running on our new box and they have been stable. This will allow us to save money and use it for other things instead of paying 90/month on a crappy old server.
